Children of bodom es una banda de metal Finlandesa , fundada por el  vocalista y guitarrista (despues  entro Alexander Kuoppala para sustituirlo en la guitarra, a su salida entro Roope Latuala ) Alexi Laiho y el baterista Jaska Raatikainen bajo el nombre de Inearthed. Con Inearthed, todos los integrantes originales de Children of Bodom, excepto el tecladista que entró a formar parte del grupo cuando cambió su nombre.
